Delete your account

In the app

Open Settings, then Delete account, and confirm. It takes effect straight away. If you signed in more than a day ago you’ll be asked to sign out and back in first — that is there so nobody holding your phone can do it for you.

Without the app

Email support@irememberu.app from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We’ll confirm it’s you and delete it within 30 days.

What is removed

Your sign-in and every signed-in device, your email address and phone number, your notification settings and the devices we send notifications to, any requests you made to join a family, and anything you were still uploading.

What stays with your family

The memories, comments and answers you shared, your name, birthday and photo, and your place in the family tree. You gave those to your family, and they remain part of its story. If you were the only person in your family with an account, the family and everything in it is deleted too.

To have a particular memory removed as well, delete it in the app before you delete your account, or ask us in your email.
